Aircraft Decon I: Fixed Wing

ClO2 Overview
Course Description: Utilizing a patented water-activated pouch technology, ProKure has revolutionized the world of chlorine dioxide (ClO2). Now, you can safely and cost effectively produce any quantity of ClO2 on-site in both gas and liquid forms.

Dahlgren Decon Overview
Course Description: Dahlgren Decon™ is a three-component decontamination solution that can quickly decontaminate most chemical warfare agents, toxic materials, and other emerging threats. In testing conducted by the U.S. Department of Defense and other federal agencies, Dahlgren Decon has been found to be the most effective and fastest reacting decontaminant on the market.
In this course you will learn about how to properly select, mix, and use the three part mixture to complete nearly any decontamination process needed. Become trained and manufacture certified today!
Dry Decon Awareness
Course Description: Up to 95% decon on most threats can be accomplished immediately using FiberTect wipes and mitts. This course covers basic awareness of hazardous material threats, contaminant identification, safety precautions, and operational use of dry decon on common contaminants. Safety and decontamination measures for synthetic opioids will be covered in depth. Use of dry decontamination in Mass Casualty Incidents will also be discussed.
This course is OSHA compliant for 2-hour HazMat refresher training.
Hybrid Decon Awareness
Course Description: Participants will be given an understanding of the science behind First Line DeconTect products to include Dahlgren Decon and FiberTect wipes. An overview of hybrid decontamination techniques will be provided, as well as hands-on practical training on mixing Dahlgren Decon. The Enhanced Decon System (EDS), Electrostatic Decon Kit (EDK), and Modular Decon Kit (MDK) will be introduced and a demonstrated minimum hybrid decontamination line will be shown. This course will also include access to the Decon Field Guide app and web portal.
Post Fire Decon
Course Description: According to the United States Fire Administration, firefighting activities can lead to chemical contamination. But do you know what steps you can take to reduce exposures? This understanding is critical as different fireground activities have different types and levels of exposure risk. If your fire department hasn’t already done so, it needs to develop or refine its policies for decontaminating gear and skin after live fire responses to reduce the potential risk of cancer.
