Course Description: The AmbuBus Bus Stretcher Conversion Kit® from First Line Technology is an effective and efficient solution for mass evacuation and transport of special needs patients, casualties, and others who require non-ambulatory transport. Course Description: Military Working Dogs (MWDs) are at risk from exposure to a range of hazardous chemicals encountered during military operations. These include the classical chemical warfare agents (CWAs) including mustard (HD), nerve agent (VX) and G-agents, as well as Toxic Industrial Chemicals (TICs), and abused drugs such as opioids. On such exposure, it is essential to have an effective decontamination system to eliminate the hazard as rapidly as possible to protect both the dogs and their handlers.
Today several Police, Fire, Private Corporations and Security agencies are using Canines to perform various functions for their handlers, and many are facing the same or similar hazards of those in the military. In this course our First Line Utilization Academy (FLUA) instructors discuss what works and what doesn’t in and around aircrafts. We also discuss what are the best techniques to use both inside of an aircraft and outside of the airframe. This class is at the awareness level and will allow students to take the advanced course in person.
Course Description: According to the National Incident Management System (NIMS ICS) the Decontamination Leader Reports to the Hazardous Materials Group Supervisor. The Decontamination Leader is responsible for the operations of the decontamination element, providing decontamination as required by the Incident Action Plan. Do you know what this means? What your Responsible for? How to determine the best Decon setup to use? In this course we will discuss this role and their responsibilities. Course Description: Up to 95% decon on most threats can be accomplished immediately using FiberTect wipes and mitts. This course covers basic awareness of hazardous material threats, contaminant identification, safety precautions, and operational use of dry decon on common contaminants. Safety and decontamination measures for synthetic opioids will be covered in depth. Use of dry decontamination in Mass Casualty Incidents will also be discussed.

They are also exposed to heat stress, on a daily basis, which leads to severe job-related illnesses, from heat stress disorders such as heat stroke, heat exhaustion, heat stress rash, to sudden cardiac deaths.
2,475 thermal stress injuries were reported among firefighters in 2016, according to a National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) report.
